The Manipura Chakra (manipura = shining jewel) is located about 3-4 cm above the navel. It is assigned to the nervous system and the digestive organs. The solar plexus chakra is related to the transition from carnal to spiritual emotions. The functions of the pancreas, adrenal glands and the adrenal cortex are subject to it. These organs play an important role in the conversion of food into energy.

Yellow primarily affects the solar plexus and promotes the mental abilities of every human being. Yellow is especially useful for depressive mood swings and helps to awaken enthusiasm for life. Yellow promotes optimism and is very helpful in treating most types of headaches. Yellow helps people who suffer from constant stress, anxiety, insecurity and lack of self-confidence.

Also interesting for dyslexia, diabetes, phobias, anorexia, bulimia and skin diseases of all kinds.

Assignments on the physical level: Yellow activates the motor nervous system and generates energy for the muscles. If the supply of "yellow energy" is impaired in any part of the body, physical functions can be disrupted; up to complete paralysis. Yellow affects the digestive system, the gastrointestinal tract, the adrenaline output and the activity of the left hemisphere of the brain. The left hemisphere of the brain is the seat of the speech center and thinks in abstracted contents, i.e. terms, words and numbers: Calculating, for example, is a typical function of the left hemisphere. The right brain hemisphere, on the other hand, thinks directly in sensory content, i.e. in images. It thinks holistically, intuitively and is the seat of the imagination. Drawing, for example, is a typical domain of the right brain hemisphere. Yellow is excellent for the nerves and the brain: this color frequency may be called motor stimulus and nerve master builder. Yellow strengthens nerves and the brain. In addition, this frequency has a stimulating and purifying effect for flushing out toxins from the liver, intestines and skin. Yellow purifies the bloodstream and activates the lymphatic system, which is part of the defense system (immune system) against pathogens, foreign particles and pathologically altered body components (e.g. tumor cells). Yellow has a calming effect on the spleen, purifies, stimulates the flow of bile from the liver and acts like an anthelmintic (worming agent).


Assignments on the psychological level: Yellow helps with depression and melancholy. People in ancient times considered yellow as the "color of life": it conveys joy, cheerfulness and amusement. Yellow is the color of the intellect; but more in terms of perception than reason. Golden-yellow shades are helpful for the body and the mind. Yellow can be used to increase the ability to learn and is therefore suitable for all students. Yellow is a so-called eye-catcher, it is one of the colors that most people notice immediately. For this reason most foot transitions are marked in this color. Used in excess, this color can cause fear, restlessness and mental tension.


Diseases that can be treated with this color frequency: Yellow is a mixture of red and green rays and therefore has half the stimulating properties of red and half the balancing, regenerating properties of green. Consequently, this color vibration tends to stimulate and repair damaged cells. If yellow light from outside is directed against the gastrointestinal tract at short intervals, digestive effects can be observed. If this light is used for longer periods of time, it can be perceived as relaxing and cleansing. It also stimulates bile secretion and, as already mentioned, acts as an anthelmintic (worming agent).
