As early as 1870, leading science tried to deny the possibility of searching for water with a rod. Thanks to the pharmaceutical company Hoffmann-La Roche, founded in 1896, even the most sceptical people were taught a better lesson. In 1972 this pharmaceutical company coordinated an interesting experiment under strictly scientific laboratory conditions:

According to scientific guidelines, the physicist Dr. Angelo Comunetti, the engineer Rudolf Rupp and the chemist Dr. Peter Treadwell examined in Basel the deflection of the divining rod above underground watercourses (water veins).

The conducted experiments were repeated several times, supported by blind tests and are verifiable ...if you have access to the files ;-) They have been published in the anniversary edition.

Medical laboratories, which are present in all pharmaceutical companies, are able to verify the information we present in the next section:

We will take a short journey through time and go back to the 30s and 40s.

These two decades were marked by scientific breakthroughs, cinema, political unrest and by the swing and jazz era, which helped many people to make life a little more worth living.
